Round TWO | 10:15 - 11:45AM
K-5 | Come Play in this Classroom | Wachovia I (WI)
Google Classroom is the perfect blended learning tool. Teachers are able to share content and assignments in a few easy clicks. Students receive work and turn it in all in one place. It provides a seamless connection between Google Classroom and Google Drive. But wait! It does so much more. Learn the most up-to-date features of Classroom because it is constantly improving to meet the needs of teachers. Use the tool in creative ways such as Book Clubs, a school wide platform to collect opinions, Professional Development tool where the teachers are the students, differentiation of content, and a file cabinet for grade level teachers to share what they create. ITF and Media Specialist can learn all about the tool for later "train the trainer" sessions in their schools. Classroom teachers can begin to create their first Classroom. In small groups you can take turns being the teacher... and the students. See what it looks like from their perspective. Playing around with this tool is the best way to learn it. Come Play in this Classroom!
Facilitated by Terri Hawley, Instructional Technology Facilitator, Wake County Public Schools
